The Port of Cadiz visits this week the four largest cruise lines in the United Kingdom

The Port Authority, accompanied by the City Council of Cadiz, the Association of Tourism Companies of Cadiz and nine other companies in the sector, participates in a trade mission organized by Extenda within the Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI) for the province of Cadiz.

The Bay of Cadiz Port Authority (APBC) is visiting the four largest cruise lines in the United Kingdom this week in a trade mission organised by Extenda with the aim of advancing the objective of converting Cadiz into a base port for cruises and presenting the Cruise Cadiz brand.

Accompanying the APBC in this embassy are the Tourism delegation of Cadiz City Council, the Association of Tourist Companies of Cadiz (AETC), Cadiship, Bernardino Abad, Torre Tavira, Expasa Agricultura y Ganadería (Yeguada de la Cartuja), Torrestrella, Novojet Vela, hotel Cádiz Plaza, A. Pérez y Cía, Hotel Las Cortes de Cádiz and Zener Marine.

The work agenda, organised by Extenda through the Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI) for the province of Cadiz, will allow them to hold meetings with the top managers of itineraries, excursions, operations and development of the world’s most important shipping companies based in the United Kingdom.

Between today and Wednesday, the delegation will hold working meetings with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, MSC Cruise Management, Cruise and Maritime Voyages, Carnival UK and the Spanish Tourist Office in London.

The Port Authority will take advantage of these meetings to present Cadiz as the essence of Andalusia, as it appears in the claim of the new brand of the Port of Cadiz for cruise traffic, Cadiz Cruise.

The mission will be co-financed with funds from the European Union, through the ERDF Operational Programme Andalusia 2014-2020, endowed with a Community contribution of 80%.
