The Port of Cadiz is planning to receive the largest cruise ship in the world

The Port of Cadiz is planning to receive the largest cruise ship in the world, the Wonder of the Seas, on the 8th February for a technical stopover, without passengers, which will last until the 10th, just before leaving for the United States.

The Wonder of the Seas, recently built, will make a technical stopover, without passengers, from 8 to 10 February before leaving for the United States.

The ship, the latest addition of the American company Royal Caribbean International, has recently been built in the French shipyard of Chantiers de l’Atlantique, in Saint-Nazaire and with its 362 metres in length, 66 metres in breadth and 9.3 metres in draught, as well as 228,000 units of GT, it has become the largest cruise ship in the world and the largest, therefore, received at the dock in Cadiz.

The cruise ship has a capacity for 7,000 passengers and will spend the nights of 8 and 9 February before leaving for the United States, where it plans to begin its first season this winter.

To date, the largest cruise ship received by the Port of Cadiz had been the Oasis of the Seas, also belonging to the Oasis class of Royal Caribbean International, with a length of 360 metres, which docked in Cadiz in 2019.
