The 2018 Royal Caribbean Passenger Satisfaction Survey gives the port of Cadiz an 8.5 percent rating and Holland America cruisers show an 86 percent rating.
The Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz (APBC) makes a very positive balance of its participation in the Seatrade Cruise Global, the largest cruise event in the world held in Miami a few days ago.One of the main conclusions of the event was the presentation by two of the world’s leading shipping companies of the results of the satisfaction surveys they carry out among their customers, which coincide in giving the Port of Cadiz an outstanding rating.Specifically, the 2018 Royal Caribbean passenger satisfaction survey gives the Cadiz port an 8.5 percent rating and Holland America cruisers show an 86 percent rating, the best customer score in all Spanish ports. The Port Authority, which has attended this event for the twenty-fourth consecutive time, will continue to strive to improve these results, in addition to undertaking a new line of work to provide a differentiated offer to shipping companies visiting Cadiz and also to create, hand in hand with the destination, a luxury product to companies in the sector. In this sense, the Port of the Bay of Cadiz considers that in addition to luxury cruises it is possible to attract large yachts and sports boats. The APBC took the opportunity to present to the shipping companies the new brand Cadiz Essence of Andalucia, which has been highly valued, as well as its project to become a base port for cruises, which has also been welcomed with interest, although American companies have stressed the need for direct flights from the United States to be able to embark in Cadiz. Carnival, Azamara, Crystal Cruises, MSC Cruceros, Calypso, Windstar, Blue Water Shipping (consignee), Virgin Voyages, Ritz Carlton or Seadream are some of the shipping companies with which the Port Authority has maintained contact during Seatrade and which have Cadiz at present or in the near future. The fair was attended by more than 11,000 participants from 30 countries and the Cadiship and Tincasur companies from Cadiz travelled with the APBC.
